The Hafiz Companies not only provide financial support for Mahad-ul-Faqeer, they companies also benefit one another, often providing raw materials or production outlets for one another. All of the Hafiz Companies are run by, or in consultation with, experts in their respective fields of operation.
Hafiz Beverages
After months of taste tests and formulation research, Hafiz beverages recently launched its first two drinks - Mango and Litchi juices. Marketed under the brand name Taza, these juices are made with the finest ingredients. Taza juices offer a unique and refreshing taste, and is currently available in 250 ml glass bottles.

Hafiz Brick Works
A brick, is a brick, is a brick. Not quite. Different sizes, shapes, colors, textures, and angles means there are 100s of different brick types. Brick choice affects not only the durability, strength and structural soundness of a building, but can also add beautiful accents, color and style to buildings.
Hafiz bricks was started in order to reduce the cost of bricks used in the construction of the Mahad, while ensuring all bricks were of a consistent, high quality. Hafiz Bricks produces bricks with accurate bonding, clean details and edges, resulting in beautiful colors and textures, and an enduring style. To date, Hafiz Bricks has resulted in a 33% cost savings.
Hafiz Builders
Hafiz Builders is the company at the heart of construction of all the various buildings at Mahad-ul-Faqeer. In addition to planning the layout of the entire 30-acre property, Hafiz Builders ensures that each aspect of each building is prepared to spec, and produces a consistent overall look and feel relative to the entire grounds. Hafiz Builders is currently focusing on completion of Masjid Zainab.
Hafiz Farms
Hafiz Farms is the oldest business project at Mahad-ul-Faqeer. In addition to traditional in-season plants, Hafiz Farms uses the latest poly-tunnel technology to produce off-season vegetables. Starting with the finest seeds imported from the world over, Hafiz Farms grows high quality bell and hot peppers, cabbage, cucumbers, onions and tomatoes. This year Hafiz Farms has added a fruit farm, producing bananas, citrus fruits, dates, guava, mangos, mexican apples and pomegranate.
Hafiz Feeds
Hafiz Feeds provides feed to all the livestock at the Mahad and ensures that only quality, wholesome feed is utilized. Any extra feed is readily sold to outside buyers, helping to ensure freshness.
Hafiz Foods
Hafiz Foods is one of the primary business units supporting Mahad-ul-Faqeer. Over the last few years, Hafiz Foods has developed a wide range of products to be brought to the market. After months of trial and tests under the supervision a leading food manufacturing expert (over 40 years with a large multi-national food conglomerate), Hafiz Foods is now offering Achar, Chili Garlic Sauce and Tomato Ketchup under its Mazedar Foods label. The most recent product additions include Apple, Golden Apple and Mango jams. Hafiz Foods also offers different types of food spices, including red chili powder and garum masala.

Hafiz Geo-Drilling
From drinking water to irrigation, Hafiz Geo Drilling ensures that the water needs of the Mahad are met. Precision drilling allows the greatest water supply, with minimal disturbance to the land.
Hafiz Live Stock
Hafiz Live Stock currently manages 100 goats and sheep, and 30 heads buffalos and cows. These animals are kept for breeding, while their milk is used in the cafeteria for faculty, students and staff. Additionally, waste from the animals is used in Effective Microbe (EM) technology, which is the latest fertilizer technology used in irrigation systems. Hafiz Live Stock also brings in 100s of extra animals each year for the Annual Qurbani.
Hafiz Nursery
Hafiz Nursery is one of the largest business units at the Mahad. The primary purpose of the nursery is to provide enough plants and trees to landscape the entire 30 acres of Mahad-ul-Faqeer. Surplus plants and trees are sold to other nearby nurseries and businesses. Intensive research is done on seeds and seedlings to increase the quality and output of plants and vegetation.
Two of the nursery's most salient features are its rose gardens, featuring more than 100 rose varieties, and its palm trees, with more than one dozen palm tree varieties available.
